The team provides a full and comprehensive drilling service to its customers encompassing Mineral Exploration, Alluvial Drilling, Geotechnical and Environmental Drilling and (Water Bores on the West Coast from Karamea to Haast).

SD have also worked on various seismic, geotechnical and instrument installation jobs, drilling a variety of ground conditions in many locations including remote, overwater and difficult access sites. Projects (both large and small works) have been completed across the South Island for numerous companies.

Speight Drilling Limited have yards in Christchurch, Reefton and NOW BRANNOCKBURN (Cromwell) in the South Island. All rigs and equipment are manufactured to the highest of standards of safety and production, as well as encompassing innovative design to help minimize environmental impact whenever possible. We are ACC approved, have an excellent safety record and maintain regular rig/vehicle and equipment servicing. Always pro-active when it comes to safety - ensuring weekly toolbox meetings are completed, hazards controlled and worksites kept safe for visitors and staff at all times.
